Internship Programs
The internship Program at Orthogonal Research and Education Laboratory (OREL) officially began in Spring 2022. Through collaboration with the University at Albany, State University of New York, and its Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Engagement, students are able to gain experiential learning opportunities, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary research for early career researchers.
Through OREL, the Internship Program is able to partner with educational institutions for similar opportunities. If you are not affiliated with an educational institution, please reach out to JOPRO for non-academic opportunities within the Internship Program.

The OREL - JOPRO Internship Program is housed within Orthogonal Research and Education Lab (OREL), and will require acceptance into OREL in order to work with our team. OREL & JOPRO are inclusive communities, with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary research, combined with support and mentoring for early career researchers.
If you are interested in joining our research group, reach out to OREL Director Dr. Bradly Alicea (bradly.alicea @ outlook.com) and Program Manager Jesse Parent (jesse @ jopro.org). Please provide a small statement of research interest indicating topics or projects you'd like to work on, alongside your CV. If you are interested in joining the general JOPRO Internship Program without participating in OREL, please note this in your communications.
